I am a Kamberri/Canberra based painter capturing objects and scenes as a means of interpreting, to share, re-live, and examine, mostly as realistic narratives and with a deep connection to place.

I paint with a fascination for the natural world, the effects of colour and light, and the interpretation of form. My work is observational - investigating, examining and exploring both the permanent and the fleeting as a means of understanding, reflecting and appreciating objects, place and experience.

My work is influenced by a background in biological science and environmental management.
